8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin cheese (or cream cheese with garlic & herbs)

1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk, coconut milk)

2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (or Pecorino Romano)

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or basil, chives)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Chop 3 garlic cloves and 2 tbsp parsley. Measure 8 oz pasta and have Boursin cheese at room temperature for easy melting.

Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, and cook pasta al dente (8-10 mins), reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

Make the Boursin Sauce: Melt 2 tbsp butter in a pan, sauté garlic for 1 min. Reduce heat and stir in 5.2 oz Boursin cheese until melted and smooth.

Add Cream and Combine: Pour in 1/2 cup heavy cream, stirring to create a smooth sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed to adjust the sauce consistency.

Incorporate the Pasta: Add cooked pasta to the pan, and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Stir in 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve and Garnish: Transfer pasta to plates, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately, and enjoy with extra toppings like sautéed mushrooms or grilled chicken.
